World's Fair Train Wreck

Missouri Scenes

Several Moundville citizens boarded the train bound for the fair.

Frank Weber (right) of Moundville and his cousin from Pennsylvania were planning to spend a few days at the fair.

His friend and neighbor, Albert Saathoff (left), was going to accompany them but decided to stay home at the last minute.

Some train cars from another Missouri Pacific line were attached at Nevada.

Mrs. W. L. Ballagh and her parents, the Mason's, boarded at Nevada.

The train headed north out of Nevada bound for Pleasant Hill, where it would be directed east toward St. Louis.
