William Henry Marlow was born in Indiana. He moved to Kansas with his families in the 1880's. Before long, William moved to Barton County, Missouri, living in or near the town of Liberal. William and his wife, Belle, are buried at Barton City Cemetery northeast of Liberal. Their son Roy and Roy's wife, Erma, are buried there also.
Barton City Cemetery is divided by a county road. The Marlow graves are located along the first driveway in the south part of the cemetery under a cedar tree.
