Barbara was born in Liberal, a small town in northwestern Barton County, Missouri. It is just a few miles from the Kansas state line. We developed a large Liberal History web site but in fall, 2004, transferred it to Brian King. The Liberal Web pages are now located at: www.liberalhistoricalsociety.com
