Post Civil War Farm Equipment
Much of the farm equipment that Missourians had prior to the Civil War was either stolen or destroyed during the war. After the war, there was a great need to replace this equipment. It was also a time when there was a lot of interest in inventing new and better farm equipment.
Four student enrolled in the Agricultural History Course researched the farming equipment that was available during the years just after the Civil War.
